The Call

Way back in 1976, a prophetess told me the following:

The Lord is going to take you to places you never dreamed possible. That which you are doing for Him now will grow into ministries you could not have imagined. Serve Him with all your heart and might.

At the time, I was in school and active in ministries such as SCA, YFC, Sunday School teaching, worship leading etc. After I left school, I always got involved wherever I could be of service.

Servicing my Heavenly Father and His people has always been a priority in my life.

Holy Communion

When Pharoah refused to set the Israelites free, the Lord sent plagues to Egypt,. No matter how horrible the plagues were, Pharoah did not give in. Exodus 12 v 21 to 23, tells us how the Lord gave instructions to the Israelites for a lamb to be slaughtered and the blood to be brushed onto the top and sides of the doors to their homes.  The Lord sent the angel of death to killed the first-born in every family but the families inside the homes that were marked by the Blood, were spared.

Jesus came and gave His life as the Sacrificial Lamb.  By His stripes we are healed…

Suggestion:  As you are unable to attend a church service today, call your family together and tell them the Story of Egypt.  Then tell them about Jesus’ instruction at Passover.  Luke 22 v 18 and 19.  If you are alone, you can be encouraged by reading these scriptures.
Then break bread (Holy Communion), in your home.

Prayer:  Father, as we remember Jesus’ death on the Cross and the power that He gave through His sacrifice, we pray today that by His Blood  and the Stripes He bore for us, we are protected against the virus. Amen.
