The Call

Way back in 1976, a prophetess told me the following:

The Lord is going to take you to places you never dreamed possible. That which you are doing for Him now will grow into ministries you could not have imagined. Serve Him with all your heart and might.

At the time, I was in school and active in ministries such as SCA, YFC, Sunday School teaching, worship leading etc. After I left school, I always got involved wherever I could be of service.

Servicing my Heavenly Father and His people has always been a priority in my life.

A Different Day

This is a new day, albeit that it seems somewhat different to the norm.  Did you sleep in this morning?  Or do you have small children who woke up earlier than usual?

The sun has risen on a new day with many opportunities.  Although everything that is happening seems to bring darkness and gloom, turn on the light and see the opportunities.
Ephesians 5 v 13 to 17 says:  Light exposes the true character of everything because light makes everything easy to see. That's why it says: "Wake up, sleeper! Rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you."
So then, be very careful how you live. Don't live like foolish people but like wise people. Make the most of your opportunities because these are evil days.  So don't be foolish, but understand what the Lord wants.

Suggestion:  Spend today preparing a list of things to do around the house.  The list can include chores that you never have time for, repairs, cut the lawn, etc.  Set aside something for each day.  Added to the list, allow time for quality time with your children.

Prayer:  Father God, as we enter this time of lockdown, please help us to wake up and understand what You want for us in this season.  Please give us ideas so that we can make the most of every opportunity at this time.  Thank you.  We praise You Name.  Amen.
